Skoda recently announced that they have started the production of their low cost sedan Skoda Rapid in India on 7th Oct 2011. However, they did not reveal much pictures of the car with this announcement which kept the auto enthusiasts guessing how this car will actually look like. There have been some spy pictures of the same leaked sometime back, but this time, it’s a much clearer view of the Skoda Rapid as we share the same here with you.

From the images, its quite clear that the Rapid’s front styling is very similar to the Fabia hatchback with chrome on the top of the front grille, Skoda logo in the middle, black vertical lines in the grille, large wraparound clear headlamps, sharp fog lamps, second grille like structure below the front license plate, elegant front stance and robust looking macho appeal.
The Rapid also gets mat finished aluminum alloy 5 spoke alloy wheels, simple yet elegant side profile, large front windshield merging smoothly with the roof of the car, large side windows for a good overall visibility and spacious well lit cabin, body colored outside rear view mirrors, door handles and bumpers, bulging wheel arches and a subtle and sophisticated side profile without many bells and whistles.

On the rear, Raid seems inspired by the Skoda Vision D Concept and with similar kind of tail lamp design and slightly resembling bumper. However, the boot door and rear windshield design resembles more to the MissionL Concept of Skoda.
