Skoda Rapid Rider Edition gets gloss black treatment and is available in two shades – Candy White and Carbon Steel.
Skoda has recently launched the limited edition of their best selling sedan, Rapid. The car is launched at a price point of Rs 6.99 lakh which makes it the most affordable sedan available in this segment. It competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Vento.
The Skoda Rapid limited edition only comes with the 1.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and gets mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces 104 bhp with a peak torque of 153 Nm. The Skoda Rapid rider edition is based on the base Active trim but adds a plethora of features to compete with its rivals.
For starters, the sedan gets a gloss black treatment on the grille up front, black side foils, black trunk lip garnish and on the B-pillars. It will sit on 15-inch steel wheels as seen on the Active trim and will be available in two exterior colour options – Candy White and Carbon Steel.

The cabin inside gets dual-tone ebony sand interiors, ivory state upholstery and scuff plates with Rapid Inscription. The sedan gets integrated in-dash music system with 4 speakers, all four power windows and among other features.

The Skoda Rapid Rider Edition is loaded with safety features like dual front airbags, Antilock braking system with Electronic BrakeForce Distribution. Also, reverse parking sensors, anti-glare rear view mirror, rear defogger, height adjustable three-point seatbelts at the front and engine immobilizer with a floating code system.

Furthermore, Skoda offers a total of 4 years warranty (standard across all Skoda cars) and four years of road side assistance (RSA). The Skoda Shield Plus also gets an extended 6-years hassle free of warranty, motor insurance and 24×7 RSA.
