As part of year end stock clearance, Skoda has reduced the price of the Rapid Diesel by up to Rs. 1.58 lakhs and up to Rs. 1.56 lakhs for the DSG automatic variants.
The Rapid is one of Skoda’s best selling cars in India. Not very long ago, Skoda achieved 100,000 sales milestone for the Rapid sedan. Now, as part of year end stock clearance, Skoda has reduced the price of the Rapid Diesel by up to a massive Rs. 1.58 lakh. The automatic variants get a price cut of up to Rs. 1.56 lakh. These price cuts are however only valid till November 30, 2019.
Skoda is also offering a 5 Year Warranty along with Discounted Service Package of 4 Years at just Rs 33,333. The price for the Rapid diesel now brings it at par with the petrol variants. Also, given the potency of the 1.5 liter diesel engine in the Rapid and the sublime DSG gearbox is the automatic variants, the Skoda Rapid Diesel automatic now makes for an extremely good value for money buy.

Skoda Rapid gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a multi-starred grille with chrome outlines up front. The rear sees C-shaped smoked tail lights and it sits on 15-inch alloy wheels.
The powertrain for the same includes a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 104 bhp with 153 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a choice 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The ARAI certified fuel efficiency is at 15.41 kmpl for the manual trim and 14.84 kmpl for the automatic.
The diesel engine churns of 110 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque sourced from a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel motor. The transmission includes a 5-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG.

The inside of the sedan follows a dual-tone beige and brown colour scheme and it gets a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Features like automatic rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and more can be seen on the Rapid.
