The EPC problem of the Skoda Kushaq is not unknown to anyone remotely interested in automobile news. Skoda has been left scratching its head after multiple owners reported the problem with the EPC of the SUV. What is even worse is the fact that people are encountering this issue within weeks of buying the Kushaq. People have hardly driven the SUV 1000-odd km and the instrument cluster flashes the EPC problem sign. This is a concerning issue for the Czech carmaker who had planned big things on the back of Kushaq. As tough the segment as it is, Skoda can’t afford to let its image tarnish like this. The competition from the Korean rivals like Creta and Seltos won’t let give a large window of opportunity to score a recovery if this continues for any longer. But, has Skoda found a way out of the EPC problem? Let us find out.

Skoda Kushaq EPC Problem
According to a post mentioned on the Skoda Kushaq Club India page on Facebook, Skoda will be delivering the Kushaq with a replaced fuel setup. This is touted as the solution to the EPC problem faced by the owners. This change will likely come into effect from September 1. This means that the Kushaqs sold this month should not have any EPC problems. Many owners had reported that their SUVs stalled mid-way after getting the EPC error and had to be towed away to the service centre in some cases. However, some people on the Facebook page also commented that this could be a rumour. They believe that if this were true, Skoda would’ve recalled the Kushaqs with problems. Only time will tell if this update is true or not and whether we will have corrupted EPC again or not.
