Skoda Kushaq Mid-Variant (Ambition) – Exteriors
While the overall silhouette and appearance look exactly like the Style trim, there are a few distinguishable elements. You will not get the chrome treatment at a lot of places on the front fascia, the bumpers will also feature a plastic element and the headlamps will be regular units. On the sides, you will notice that there are 16-inch silver finished alloy wheels in comparison to the 17-inch diamond-cut alloys that you get in the Style variant. Apart from that, you will see body-coloured door handles in place of chrome-finished ones. The rear also gives a miss to the chrome strip at the bottom of the boot lid which gives it a sporty and modern look. The bumper and skid plates are not as good-looking as in the top trim.

Interiors and Features
There are some prominent differences on the inside of the mid-variant as well. You will not find the Wireless Charging station, the audio system is missing the tweeters, there is no physical button for the cruise control, the upholstery is not leather as in the top trim, there is no sunroof, lumbar support, engine start/stop button. However, the overall design and material quality are standard across all the variants. Another thing to notice is the availability of 2 airbags compared to 6 in the top variant. These are some of the things that one will miss out on if considering the mid-variant Ambition.

Another thing to consider if opting for the mid-trim is the lack of 1.5-litre TSI engine. It is reserved just for the top Style variant. You will have to do with the 1.0-litre TSI engine which makes 115 hp and 175 Nm of peak power and torque. The prices for the Ambition variant with 6-speed manual transmission are Rs 12.79 lakh and with the automatic gearbox are Rs 14.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The 1.0-litre Style starts at Rs 14.59 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 17.59 lakh, ex-showroom for the 1.5-litre DSG unit.

It makes a lot of sense to consider the Skoda Kushaq mid-variant (Ambition) with all the necessary features in comparison to the top Style trim simply because of the value for money aspect that it offers. The top trim may be a bit too expensive for a whole lot of people.
