A Skoda Kushaq owner has decided to take the mid-size SUV to the challenging Killar Kishtwar route in Jammu. It is considered to be one of the toughest roads in the world due to its extreme road conditions and treacherous trails on the side of a cliff. The road, if you could consider it that, is built along the side of the Chenab river and is a popular route for adventure seekers. The first video is a trailer to the entire journey of the YouTuber over the course of several days. The second video, though, shows the car on the ultra-treacherous round.

Skoda Kushaq Conquers Killar Kishtwar Trail
The owner shares a glimpse of the entire journey in this short video clip. The next video shows the car on the Killar-Kistwar aka Cliffhanger. He is seen starting out from the plains on highways. Ultimately, he reaches the dreaded Killar Kishtwar section on his way to Sach Pass. He has relied on his Skoda Kushaq for this adventure. The track seen in the footage shows how challenging the trail is. There is hardly any tarmac and the narrow road is full of small pebbles, dirt, and stones in some parts. Nevertheless, the owner mentions that the Kushaq is able to make it through this tough route and over the Sach Pass without any issues. This is a testament to what the Kushaq is capable of.

The Skoda Kushaq has been on sale in two engine variants – 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI EVO. The smaller engine outputs a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 178 Nm, while the larger unit offers a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The transmission options for the former include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic, while the latter comes with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG. The prices of the mid-size SUV range between Rs 11.29 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
