This is not the first time that we are reporting the EPC issue in the Skoda Kushaq. However, the number of people facing this issue is increasing day by day. Zac Hollis is trying to resolve the issue internally and calm down the aggrieved customers. But the growing disappointment and concern among the current and potential Kushaq owners are getting out of hand. Skoda has been coming under fire ever since the first few customers started complaining about an EPC issue display on the instrument cluster. The Kushaq has been found stalling in the middle of the road and had to be towed away to the service centre within the first 3,000 km. This is not an assuring thing, especially for the Czech carmaker which has been known to produce quality products. What are the details of this EPC issue in the Skoda Kushaq and what this could mean for the company, let us find out?

Skoda Kushaq EPC Issue
People have flooded the Skoda Kushaq Owners’ Club pages on Facebook with complaints pouring in heavily. Now, we understand that it is made to look worse than it is through social media, as Zac explains, but then again, how can even a handful of people experience such a severe issue with a brand new car costing almost Rs 20 lakh, on-road for the top-trim which just strands you on the middle of the rad within the first few days? On top of that, the actual problem has still not been discovered and people have started getting the same issue within days of repair. This is quite ridiculous no matter how you consider the situation. Skoda can’t claim to be a premium carmaker with such severe and outrageous issues cropping up in a car that has been developed from the ground up just recently.

Here are some of the posts from the concerned owners who have been expressing their predicament and want to return the car. They have been shocked by such serious issues in a brand new car which could just leave them stranded on the road. Zac Hollis, to his credit, is trying his best to own up to the problems and probe into the matter. However, once the trust in the brand is lost, he won’t be able to do much. There are extremely popular alternatives to the Kushaq in the segment. It is only Skoda who stands to lose it all if the Kushaq were to fail in India as it has pinned all its hopes on this mid-size SUV.
