It could have faced hydrostatic lock also. The owner blames Kushaq’s poor design. He claimed that his Mercedes-Benz CLA Class and Jeep Compass were also parked there, only the Kushaq failed to start.

What We Think
Flooding can happen anytime and cause severe damage to vehicles. You should always have good insurance to cover any unforeseen damage. The same is true for other natural disasters like thunderstorms and cyclones. Also, it is important to avoid passing through deep water as water can get into the engine and shut off. However, if this happens, don’t try to start the car again as the water can damage it even more. In such cases of hydro locking, it is advisable to call for help and have your car towed to professionals.
