The Scout edition sees all-black interiors, Alcantara seat upholstery and Scout badging on the glove box, seat covers front fenders and tailgate.
Skoda has launched the Kodiaq Scout in India at a price of Rs 33.99 lakh. The SUV sits in between the top-end L&K Trim and base variant Style. The SUV offers the same alloy wheels as available in regular Kodiaq but gives a two-tone finish here.
At a price increase of Rs 1 lakh than the base version, Skoda Kodiaq Scout Edition is different than the regular versions. Starting with the interior, it now gets an all-black theme and further wood-like sills cover the dashboard and door handles.
The SUV sees scout badging on the new Alcantara seat covers and on the glove box as well. The Amundsen infotainment touchscreen infotainment unit is another place where the Scout logo can be seen at the starting. Also, this edition of the Kodiaq gets chrome door handles which no Kodiaq gets.

The Scout edition is basically the rugged version of the Kodiaq but offers the same 188 mm ground clearance. Pointing out to the exteriors, the length of the SUV is increased by 8 mm and now stands at 4,705 mm. The increased length is because of the new front bumpers.
Another highlight of this edition is the availability of tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and addition of an Off-road mode. The latter operates at speed of up to 30 km/h. It can adjust itself to the engine and electronic assistants.
Other changes include a chrome surround exterior grille, silver roof rails, front bumper with silver spoiler, rear bumper with silver diffuser, Scout Plaque on front fenders and among others.
The Scout Edition of Kodiaq gets the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel motor which produces 148 bhp. This motor is mated to 7-speed DSG transmission and the torque is limited to 340 Nm.

Safety features like Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake Distribution, Electronic brake system with Auto hold control, Multiple Airbags, Brake Assist, ISOFIX mount child seats, front and rear parking sensors, Hands free parking, Reverse parking camera and among others.
The Scout edition is available in four colour options – Moon White, Lark Blue, Quartz Grey and Magic Black.
In other news, Skoda also launched the corporate edition of Superb and Kodiaq few days ago. The prices were reduced by Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 2.38 lakh respectively. However, today is the last day to buy the Kodiaq Corporate edition and the prices for the same starts at Rs 32.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
