Skoda India managed to keep its sales chart going strong with the sales of 1654 cars sold in September 2011 compared to 1467 cars sold in same month last year. With its rationalized pricing strategies and high quality of products focused towards quality and luxury in their own segments is giving Skoda good sales numbers. Skoda India has recently introduced lower priced variants of Skoda Fabia to boost its sales and the upcoming sedan Skoda Lauretta is also due for its launch very soon.
Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India said, “Despite tough market conditions we have managed to maintain a healthy growth rate. We have recently launched the Laura RS which was targeted at auto enthusiasts. We have also introduced 2 more variants in the Fabia and given our customer a chance to upgrade with factory fitting in the Plus variants. We are committed to providing value offerings and will strive for further growth in the coming months.”
