Skoda Fabia Scout Officially Launched In India At Rs. 6.67 Lakhs
Skoda is already working sincerely on increasing the number of variants of Fabia so that they could influence and attract every aspiring hatchback buyer. Recently it launched two new variants of Fabia, Active Plus and Ambition Plus which were greatly appreciated.
The company is quite popular and so is the Skoda Fabia hatchback and expanding the range of its vehicles Skoda has announced of launching Skoda Fabia Scout, an off-road edition of the Fabia, in 2012.

For quite some time Skoda is testing the Scout on Indian roads and it has been caught the same number of times as well. Distinguishing features of Fabia Scout compared to Fabia are sporty roof rails, dual tone chunky bumpers, side cladding, plastic inserts on mudguards, door sills etc.
The overall appearance does resemble to that of a 4×4 and the car looks quite stylish against Fabia small car. Under the hood the car will equip a 1.6 MPFI petrol and a 1.6 CRDI diesel engine and it is being speculated that a new 1.5 Liter diesel is also making its way along with Scout.

I am sure the refreshing styling of Scout will be definitely liked by Indian hatchback lovers as with the new cladding and roof rails, the car looks brilliant and attractive enough. Our only concern is the pricing of the car which should be close to Fabia but obviously we will have to wait till its launch to get the exact price tag.
