In something unfathomable to a lot of people, Shahrukh Khan was seen coming out of a Kia Seltos during his visit to the jail on Arthur Road. The megastar might have used the mid-size SUV to keep a low profile. We all know how stressful it could be to face the relentless questions of the paparazzi. This is especially true in such high profile cases where the Aryan (son of the actor) has been in police custody for almost a week now. He has been suspected to be involved in a drug racket. The bail has also been denied. That is when Shahrukh Khan decided to visit him in jail. He was snapped outside the police station at Arthur Road. Here are the details of the incident.

Shahrukh Khan Visits Jail In Kia Seltos
The images above give us a clear glimpse of the actor coming out of the Seltos amidst a swarm of reporters. The car in the picture is the Grey-coloured Kia Seltos. Now, it may well be an aspirational car to the majority of the population. But for someone of SRK’s stature, it is a product which he would use to stay low profile. We don’t know if the car belongs to him or someone else. However, it didn’t seem to have worked well. The reporters are still all over him even though he tried to keep a low profile. This is also an example of how difficult it is for someone like SRK to keep a low profile even when he requires his personal space.

Kia Seltos comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol making 115 PS and 144 Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel making 115 PS and 250 Nm and a 1.4-litre Turbo petrol with direct injection making 140 PS and 242 Nm. These engines can be had with either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, 7-speed DCT or a CVT transmission option. The Kia Seltos costs between Rs 9.95 lakh and Rs 18.10 lakh, ex-showroom. The rivals of the Seltos include Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun and MG Astor. This segment has become extremely competitive but also offers a ton of options for potential customers.
