In a viral video clip, the iconic actor Shahrukh Khan reasons why he would choose a Hyundai Santro over a Bugatti Veyron. As you would know, these are vehicles that belong to the opposite ends of the spectrum. On one hand, Santro is among the most successful entry-level hatchbacks in the country. However, it has now been discontinued. You would find a Santro in any part of the country without even looking for it. On the other hand, the Bugatti Veyron is among the most expensive and fastest vehicles ever produced. You would struggle to find one of the roads even if you are in an affluent neighbourhood anywhere in the world. But here’s why SRK doesn’t own the latter despite being one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

Shahrukh Khan Chooses Santro Over Bugatti

Apparently, he is answering the most burning questions from his fans on the internet. Someone asks if he owns a Bugatti Veyron. He says that he doesn’t have one. The reason he cites is the fact that the seating inside a Veyron is quite low. It feels like you are sitting on the ground or on a flying carpet, of sorts. That is a common trait of hypercars to ensure a low centre of gravity and sporty driving position to clock those insane top speeds and cornering abilities. SRK finally says that he is happy with something like a Hyundai Santro.

SRK’s Hyundai Connection
If you haven’t figured it out yet, Shahrukh Khan has been the brand ambassador for Hyundai India for a long time now. You must’ve seen him in Hyundai ads on TV for years now. Hence, it makes sense that he would promote the Korean carmaker. But we understand that this is more in a joking manner than anything else. As a matter of fact, SRK has been doing advertisements for the Santro since 1998 when the car and the brand were officially launched in India. That is how long back the partnership between the Korean giant and SRK goes.

Cars of SRK
Even though he might be making jokes about Bugatti Veyron, he owns quite impressive automobiles in his garage. This includes cars like the BMW 7 Series, Hummer Limousine, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge, Mercedes Maybach S580, Range Rover Sport, and more. He has been spotted using these on multiple occasions to make public appearances. Hence, he might not own a Veyron, but he has all the top luxury vehicles in his ostentatious garage.
