KIA SP2i comes with loaded features and dominates its segment with first-in-class segment features. The car is scheduled for launch on June 20, 2019
Kia SP2i SUV will make its debut in India on 20th June and recently the interiors of the upcoming sports utility vehicle were revealed. First showcased at 2018 Auto Expo, Kia has gained quite a popularity and will start its first step by launching their SUV later this year.
The SUV features a sharp grille at the front with sleek LED headlamps and is expected to sit on 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear design looks neat as there is a chrome bar which connects both ends. The faux exhaust design gets tweaked into the rear diffuser.
Now lets look at some of the unique features that the upcoming SUV has in store:
Larger 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system
Once you enter the cabin, you are welcomed by the floating touchscreen infotainment system which will host Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is more driver-oriented and will also get a 360-degree camera with guidance, voice-command and navigation system.
Kia SP2i Ventilated Seats
Knowing the weather conditions of India, Kis SP2i will be equipped with ventilated seats at the front. Basically, cool seats work by confining cool air directly in the seat where the passenger is seated.

Wireless Charging
In a world full of technology, and the car manufacturers focusing on keeping the passengers connected, it provides wireless charging. One can charge their phone by placing in a wireless pad and can charge your device on the go.
Driver Talk and Quiet Mode
The drive talk fancy feature will amplify the sound of the driver using a microphone so the driver has better communication with the passengers seated in the second row. The quiet mode feature just uses the front two speakers to play the music without disturbing the second row of passengers.
Kia SP2i Adaptive Cruise Control
Once launched then it will be the first in segment feature that the SUV possess. Basically, the car has a scanner at the front that judges the distance between your vehicle and the one ahead of you. Then it will slow down your car and speed up respectively by judging the speed of the car ahead of you. The driver can set a certain speed too just like cruise control.

EP Brake
Also known as an electronic parking brake, it is an advanced form of conventional brake or handbrake. The response time of these brakes are very short thus helps you quickly take control of the car. They also improve the control of the vehicle when you are moving on a slope. The system is highly reliable.
HUD and Ambient Lighting
The main use of heads-up-display is to provide undivided attention to the driver. A digital transparent image is projected to the windshield of your car and it displays information that varies from current speed, time, name of the song which is playing, revs of the engine to the temperature gauge.
It will also get ambient lighting inside the cabin which makes the car feel upmarket. Although, it is not clear how many colours can be expected.
Upcoming KIA SP2i will launch on June 20, 2019, and the car will compete against Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Renault Captur and Nissan Kicks.
