The brand was founded in 1905. At the time lot of cars are made by hand. However, Rolls Royce has continued that tradition and each of their cars are still made by hand. As a result, it takes over 2 months to build a single unit compared to something like a Toyota which takes just 13 hours to build a car. Now the brand is owned by the German luxury carmaker BMW which bought the company back in 1998.

As per the information in the video, Rolls Royce does not own inventory and makes the vehicles only on demand. As a consequence, the sheer number of customisation options available is infinite. Not many people might know this but Rolls Royce also manufactures engines for aircraft. In addition to that, there are thousands of colours to choose from when it comes to the exterior. On top of that, you can choose any of your favourite colours and Rolls Royce will paint it for you.

When it comes to service costs you’d be surprised to know that Rolls Royce costs less than your typical luxury cars. These are built to last and the quality of components used in these cars is very high. But when you do go for the regular service intervals, the amount of engine oil and coolant required for the vehicles is higher. As per the information in the video, it will cost you around Rs 80,000 for getting your Rolls-Royce serviced. We think that these are pretty nominal charges when you consider the legacy and image attached to the brand.
