Hyundai has occupied a considerable market share with recent cars like Hyundai i10 and Hyundai i20. The i10 already gets a new facelifted model but since the i20’s launch in 2008, the latter has not been revised to keep up with the changing taste of buyers. After a pretty long while, the pretty much anticipated i20 facelift model has been spied in Europe. As expected the company has adopted the new fluidic sculpture design language, being featured in new i10 and Hyundai Verna Fluidic, for the new i20 as well.

Since it is a new model with a new design language, a lot has been changed on the exteriors and the features are more pronounced now. The headlamps, tail lamps, front grille, front and rear bumper, reflectors and a few more things have been modified accordingly. Just to give you an idea and as per our expectation, the car should take some of its design cues from the Hyundai ix20 MPV.

The above picture is of ix20 but please don’t expect the India specific i20 to be so beautiful. But yes definitely it would carry a similar look and with all confident give the 2011 Maruti Swift a nice run for its money.

Although the car is extremely successful and worth your buy but still in order to see a better car in the upcoming i20, we expect a few changes. These include a more responsive engine, less NVH levels, i20 Asta steering wheel in the lower Era and Magna models, more precise steering behavior etc. All these are assumptions and we really don’t know what the brand might bring to India, so we need to wait and watch until the model is officially launched.
