We have got to know that Maruti Fronx is slated to get ADAS in the coming months. ADAS refers to the Advanced Driving Assistance System. Fronx, derived from the highly successful Baleno premium hatchback, fits neatly into the lineup just below the mid-sized Grand Vitara. While its pricing falls between that of the Baleno and Brezza, the Fronx offers a distinct overall appeal that sets it apart from its counterparts. It is a crossover SUV with a unique look that has the potential to captivate a wide audience. The ADAS features will enhance its appeal even further.

What We Think
ADAS encompasses handy features like Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and more. All these could come in handy if the roads have proper lane markings. But there are not a lot of roads in the country, apart from the main highways and expressways, where lane markings and traffic signs are there. Still, it is better to have these features in the case of an emergency. On the other hand, we must also ensure that people don’t misuse these features like we have seen with Mahindra XUV700 on so many occasions.
