Alto K10 recently got a generation change. The compact hatchback received an extensive makeover on the outside. Based on the new platform, it has grown in size as well. The cabin space has increased as a result. More importantly, the interior layout has been modernised a lot. The dashboard, centre console, infotainment system, door panels, etc have all been updated to make it look a bit more premium than the entry-level tag would suggest.

The recently launched 2022 Maruti Alto K10 comes with the next-gen K-Series 1.0-litre dual-jet VVT petrol engine. It develops a healthy 66 hp and 89 Nm of peak power and torque. There will be the option of choosing between a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti claims the mileage of 24.90 km/l (AMT) and 24.39 km/l (MT). The prices range from Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 5.83 lakh, ex-showroom. After the discontinuation of the Hyundai Santro, the K10 will go up against the Renault Kwid in our market.
