Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, recently got his hands on a swanky new Mercedes-Benz GLS. It is the flagship luxury SUV from the Mercedes-Benz in India. Many prominent celebs possess this vehicle. Salim Khan is among the first successful screenwriters in the country along with Javed Akhtar as Salim-Javed duo. They revolutionized the Indian cinema back in the 1970s. Both these engines pair with a 9-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels via Merc’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive configuration. In the diesel trim, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in just 6.1 seconds. The prices range from Rs 1.32 Crore to Rs 1.37 Crore, ex-showroom.
