Now, Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X also gets ABS. The first walkaround video of the bike has surfaced online. The prices are not announced officially yet.
Just some days ago, Royal Enfield Bullet 350 equipped with rear disc brakes was spotted one of the dealerships. Now, Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X has also been upgraded with ABS feature. Royal Enfield stated that it would upgrade all of its motorcycles with ABS by next year. After these, only a couple of them are remaining to get ABS. The news is not official as of now and even the prices are not declared. We expect, an upward of Rs 10,000 or so over the normal prices.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X gets a dual-channel ABS setup, same as on Himalayan and Classic 500. The first one to get ABS was the Classic Signals 350. Classic 350 and Bullet 350 are still equipped with front and rear disc brakes, without ABS.

Mechanically, Thunderbird 350X remains the same. It gets a 346cc air-cooled TwinSpark engine. The engine puts out 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, engine pairs up with a 5-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is an urban street version of the normal Thunderbird. It is meant for the younger generation, with all the black inserts and classy colour options. Other design highlights include a flat handlebar, a more aggressive riding position, the revised seat styling and split grab rails for the pillion. It gets a rather small rear fender than the normal Thunderbird.

For suspension purposes, 350X comes with conventional telescopic forks in the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it uses 280mm disc brakes in the front and 220mm brakes at the back. Now, it also comes with ABS.
The prices of Thunderbird 350X start off at Rs 1.57 Lakhs. The prices would end before Rs 1.7 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices).
Royal Enfield is currently gearing up for the launch of its 650 Twins. Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 are all set to be launched on 14th November. The Interceptor is a street roadster, whereas the Continental GT is a cafe racer. The prices might start off at Rs 3 Lakhs for Interceptor and Rs 50,000 more for the Continental GT 650.
