Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and 500X ABS are now available across all dealerships now. The prices of both the bikes are revealed through dealership sources.
Only a couple of Royal Enfield bikes are left to get ABS upgrade. The latest ones to get the safety upgrade include Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and 500X. Now, both the models with ABS are available across all dealerships. As per our sources, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is priced at Rs 1.62 Lakhs and the 500X goes for Rs 2.13 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices. The on-road prices of 350X are 1.91 Lakhs and Rs 2.58 Lakhs for 500X. The prices are around Rs 6,000 higher than the non-ABS variants. Thunderbird X series is an urban-street version of the regular Thunderbird.
Both the bikes get a dual-channel ABS setup, as seen in the other bikes as well. Royal Enfield has silently rolled out ABS in its models. As of now, only Thunderbird and Bullet series remain without ABS. Both of the models might be soon equipped with the safety upgrade.

As per upcoming Government norms, all two-wheelers above 125cc must be equipped with ABS as standard fitment. Anti Braking System is a very important safety feature as it reduces the risk of locking the tires while sudden braking. As a result, the two-wheeler does not skid, reducing fatalities on the road.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and 500X are much bolder looking versions of Thunderbird series. Both the bikes get a new handlebar, different riding position, black inserts over the body and new 9-inch spoke alloy wheels with tubeless tires. Other than that, the bike receives no further update.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X comes with a 346cc air-cooled engine. The engine produces 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque. The 500X comes with a 499cc air-cooled engine that puts out 27.2 BHP and 41.3 Nm of peak torque. The 500cc version gets Electronic Fuel Injection. Both the bikes pair up with a 5-speed gearbox.
The features onboard Thunderbird 350X and 500X include LED projector headlamps, twin-pod instrument cluster, tubeless tires, dual-channel ABS setup and a new set of alloy wheels.
With the revised prices, Thunderbird 350X and 500X are one of the costliest ones in the lineup. However, their positions will be taken over by the upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. The 650 Twins are all set to launch on 14th November in India. Most likely, both the models will be priced under Rs 3.5 Lakhs, with GT 650 a bit higher priced than Interceptor.
