The RE Scram 452 will share its engine specifications with the Himalayan 452. This means that it will get the Sherpa engine. Hence, there will be a robust 452-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 4V engine that generates an impressive 40.02 PS of power at 8,000 RPM and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. This engine is paired with a 6-speed slip & assist gearbox, incorporating a wet multi-plate clutch and a 42 mm throttle body equipped with a Ride-by-Wire system. The engine’s bore and stroke dimensions are 84 mm and 81.5 mm, respectively. Constructed on a twin-spar tubular steel frame, the bike features a 43 mm USD front fork with 200 mm of wheel travel, coupled with a linkage-type mono-shock at the rear boasting 200 mm of wheel travel. The expected price is around Rs 2.60 lakh, ex-showroom and the unveiling might take place around August this year.

The Himalayan 452 is a popular product. In fact, RE upgraded it thoroughly in its current avatar. Therefore, the Scram 452, based on it, is bound to be a more modern iteration of the Scram 411.
