Benelli has just put a teaser of the upcoming Imperiale 400, which is another retro-styled motorcycle. The bookings are now open for Rs 4,000.
The bookings for Benelli Imperiale 400 have commenced across all dealerships. A couple of days back, the manufacturer teased its upcoming motorcycle and now it has released an official teaser of the same.
The launch of Benelli Imperiale 400 was long-awaited in India because it was just another retro-styled street racer, like the Classic 350. It looks quite similar to the Classic, but has its own styling cues and presence.
The launch of Benelli Imperiale 400 has been set for 21st October, while the deliveries will commence in November. The motorcycle has already been spied in two colours – Black and Maroon and will also come in Chrome colour.

The Imperiale 400 uses a 373cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 19.7 BHP at 5500 RPM and 28 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM, with a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are very similar to the Royal Enfield 350cc models.
If you notice carefully, it gets some premium design bits like a split seat, a sculpted fuel tank, blacked-out elements, medium-chrome detailing and twin-pod instrument console. Must say that it looks good.
For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the back. Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as standard.
