Strong reports suggest that the launch of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will happen in the month of September, following the unveiling of the bike.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been delayed for some time now. After being spotted many times, we now have strong reports confirming that the launch is going to happen in September. We are expecting RE to drop in a teaser or a first look by the end of this month or early next month itself.
Now, the official images of Meteor 350 Fireball have been leaked online. Looks like RE listed the motorcycle online by mistake in its configuration option. These are a couple of studio shots of the motorcycle that came online, along with the reported ex-showroom prices. Here, have a look.

One of the images leaked show the option where you can select the accessories online. In this image, we can see the price coming to a total of Rs 1.68 Lakhs (ex-showroom). That remains unsure if the price is including some accessories or not. Even with that, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be cheaper than almost all the variants of BS6 Classic 350.
In the photo, you can see the similarities between Meteor and Thunderbird. Major changes will include a new double cradle chassis along with a new heavily reworked BS6 engine. It will use the same engine that recently came on the BS6 Classic 350 with Fuel Injection as standard. The unit produces 19.1 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Further, the Meteor 350 will get halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, twin-pod digital instrument cluster, split seat setup, alloy wheels as standard and dual-channel ABS. The suspension setup will remain the same with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back.

Just like the Thunderbird 350X, Royal Enfield could offer the Meteor 350X with many colour options. What remains unknown is that if Fireball is actually the name of the motorcycle or just a colour option. We are expecting RE to launch it once the lockdown is over and to commence the bookings soon.
