Royal Enfield has unveiled a special edition model of the iconic Classic 350 for those looking for some flair
The RE Goan Classic 350 has been unveiled for the Indian market as we take a look at what’s different via a walkaround video. The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer has been strengthening its 650-cc segment portfolio recently. But now it looks like it is trying to do the same in the 350-cc category. We know that there are not all that many Bobber-styled motorcycles in this space yet. With the Goan Glassic 350, Royal Enfield aims to change that. The launch will take place at the Motoverse in Goa. Let us take a look at the details of the changes in comparison to the regular Classic 350.
RE Goan Classic Walkaround
This video stems from Motoroids on YouTube. The host has the bike in its bright colours – Trip Teal, Purple Haze, Shack Rack, and Rave Red. The first thing that catches the eye is the Bobber styling with a single-seat setup and the unique and detailed colour theme. The front section has a short fender, a hanger-style handlebar, an LED headlamp with hood protection and white-painted tyre walls. On the sides, we get to experience the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a new sun-inspired RE logo, dual-painted engine casing, spoked wheels, gloss black painted side body panels with Goan Classic 350 markings and more.
At the rear, it gets that exposed tyre cover with a swingarm-mounted tyre hugger, LED taillight and the option to install a pillion seat. However, what remains the same as the regular Classic 350 is what powers this beauty. It uses the 349-cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is good for 20 hp and 27 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing transmission duties is a 5-speed manual gearbox. It uses a double cradle frame with telescopic front suspensions and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Finally, it gets 19-inch front and 16-inch rear spoked wheels. We will have to wait for the price announcement.
