Royal Enfield is the world’s oldest motorcycle brand and is still producing great products, including the legend Royal Enfield Bullet. The company is existing in India for over 5 decades and there is no question to how popular the brand is. The brand is already selling its motorcycles in a number of countries and recently it stepped into its next market, the Philippines.
All the models equip a 500CC Unit Construction Engine which integrates the engine, clutch and gearbox into a single unit. The Unit construction not only helped Enfield to meet the ever-changing emission norms but also offer frugality. The engine despite having a high displacement of 500CC, delivers 30 KMPL of fuel economy which is quite impressive.
Unlike India where 350CC models are also available, the company is selling only 500CC models in Philippines. The 500CC Philippine model line-up includes the following models:
- Royal Enfield Classic 500
- Royal Enfield Desert Storm 500
- Royal Enfield Classic 500 Battle Green
- Royal Enfield Classic Chrome 500
- Royal Enfield Electra Deluxe 500

Out of these 5 motorcycles only three are sold in India and the fans would love to grab the remaining models which still are not in our reach. Unfortunately the Battle Green model is beyond our reach as the government’s regulations say that the military green colour cannot be used the same uses it. The only bike left to talk about, the Electra Deluxe, is currently being sold in export markets and is not available for our market but we could expect its launch sometime later.

I hope the company does well in the new market and soon brings the remaining awaited models to the Indian domestic market.
