Royal Enfield India has launched the Classic Chrome and Desert Storm version of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 in India. There are slight modifications in the chassis, Engine tuning, Exhaust muffler design, front suspensions forks design etc..

Apart from these changes, the major modifications are in aesthetics only. The bikes have been priced at Rs. 1.50 Lakhs Ex-showroom Mumbai for the Classic Chrome and Rs. 1.44 Lakhs Ex-showroom Mumbai for the Desert Storm black and red.

Both the bikes resemble the the Classic Enfield with single saddle spring supported seat with lots of retro looks, classic instrument panel. There is a large disk brake at front and drum brake at rear.
