Royal Enfield just launched the Classic 350 S in India, as the more affordable variant of the regular Classic 350. Here are some of the differences between both of them.
To improve its overall sales, Royal Enfield launched the more affordable versions of Classic 350 and Bullet 350. Both demand nearly Rs 9000-10000 lesser than their regular variants, with minor changes onboard.
The Classic 350 was once amongst the top 10 selling motorcycles of India, but has now seen a sales decline of nearly 50%, in comparison to August 2018. With the new and cheaper variant, we expect the sales to see a mild positive side.
1. Design Changes
In terms of design, there is a small but noticeable difference on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 S, amongst all. You see that the chrome detailing has been cut down drastically and now only the exhaust muffler gets the treatment. The engine and the wire-spoke wheels get blacked-out treatment now. Also, the proud 3D Royal Enfield logo on the fuel tank is replaced by a black sticker.
2. Colours
The Classic 350S comes in only Pure Black And Mercury Silver options. On the other hand, there are plenty of colour options to choose on the regular 350, like Redditch Green, Redditch Red, Gun Metal Grey, Original Black and more.

3. Availability
As of now, the Classic 350 S is only available in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. There is no confirmation or report suggesting if it is available across all dealerships.
4. Braking
Here is another bigger difference between the Royal Enfield Classic 350 S and regular Classic 350. The former uses a single-channel ABS and drum brakes at the back, instead of dual-channel ABS on the Classic 350. That’s what has helped majorly in the price reduction.
5. Price
In terms of pricing, the Classic 350 S comes at Rs 1.45 Lakhs, which is Rs 10,000 cheaper than the Classic 350 (Rs 1.55 Lakhs ) (all prices ex-showroom).
