In the latest incident, a Royal Enfield Bullet is seen engulfed in fire in the middle of the road. Automobile fires are not uncommon in our country. This is especially true during peak summers. People often have to park their vehicles outside under direct sunlight. At times, things get out of control and vehicles catch fire. However, it is not peak summer yet. Still, we came across this case on the internet. Let us take a look at the details here.
Royal Enfield Bullet Catches Fire
This post comes from saudaghar on Instagram. It captures the entire incident. A black Bullet is parked in the middle of the road with flame emanating from its engine. As per the information in the video clip, this case comes from Keshav Nagar in Pune, Maharashtra. Incidentally, a water tanker was passing by on the road at the same time. Seeing the fire, it stopped and the person inside the tanker started pouring water into the fire to douse it. It is quite challenging to manage and control vehicular fire. As seen in the video, despite the water, the flames are still alive. Finally, other people also joined in and controlled the fire.
Not The First Incident
This is not the first time there has been a fire incident with an RE Bullet. There was one case where a Bullet was engulfed in flames soon after the delivery. However, the reason for that was unclear. Mostly, people go to the aftermarket car modifications house where the mechanics tweak the electrical connections. That results in a short circuit causing fire immediately. But until we know the full picture, we can’t say anything for sure.
Author’s Note
We would like to highlight the importance of parking the vehicles away from direct sunlight on peak summer days. We understand that the parking problem persists in all major cities of our nation. As the number of vehicles increases, the urban roads remain congested. Hence, people have no other option but to park their automobiles outside. Even though vehicles are designed for extreme temperatures, things can go wrong. That is when such cases arise. We hope that no such case occurs and we advise our readers to be mindful of such occurrences as we embrace the peak summers.
