With the BS6 update, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 receive a hike in price by about Rs 8,000 – Rs 9,000, depending on the variant.
Royal Enfield has finally announced the price of the BS6 compliant Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Royal Enfield’s flagship motorcycles have also started reaching dealerships across the country. The 650 twins were already fuel injected and as such have not seen as significant a hike in price as other motorcycles from the manufacturer. However, its still quite substantial at about Rs 9,000.
The BS6 compliant Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 look identical to the BS4 spec models. The company does not seem to have put the additional catalytic convertor on the header pipe of the exhaust system. It appears as if Royal Enfield has integrated the additional catalytic converters into the twin exhaust pipe layout.
This is the second time Royal Enfield has hiked the prices of the 650 twins. The first price hike came in on September 2019 which was for about Rs 6,000. Here’s the new price list of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 :

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are the most powerful bikes in their price point where it competes against the KTM Duke 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300. It is also the most powerful bikes Royal Enfield have ever produced. It uses a 648cc, parallel twin engine which churns out 47 bhp and 54 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it also comes with a slipper clutch.
