Amitabh Bachchan owned a white Rolls Royce Phantom which was famously gifted to him by director Vidhu Vinod Chopra after the success of ‘Eklavya’ in 2007.
Last year, the famous white Rolls Royce Phantom of Amitabh Bachchan was impounded for tax default in Bengaluru. The same car was then sold to Bengaluru-based Umrah Developers, a firm owned by Yusuf Shariff. The car was never re-registered and was ultimately impounded owing to tax default. However, the developer later told that he didn’t re-register the vehicle as there was pending insurance payment that was to be made by the original owner. Now, the ultra-luxurious car has been spotted on the streets of Bengaluru. It has been seen over a year after it was impounded for tax default, insurance and the lack of other documents. Here are the details.

Rolls Royce Phantom registered in name of Amitabh Bachchan Spotted
The video has been uploaded by Spotter India. In the video, a white Rolls Royce Phantom is seen plying on the roads in Bengaluru. The driver is not visible but the exotic car is seen doing rounds of the city. While it is not extraordinarily long or wide, its large dimensions are causing it issues entering the narrow alleyways of the city. The video also shows the Phantom travelling amidst heavy traffic as it makes a few heads turn. Needless to say, people are seen making videos of the opulent vehicle.

It was reported that this vehicle was impounded for the aforementioned reasons. However, the investigation found out that Amitabh Bachchan had sold it to someone else prior to that incident. A man named Salman Khan was the owner of this when it was impounded. However, the official documents were still in the name of Amitabh Bachchan which caused the entire confusion. It seems to be the classic case where the vehicle was already sold but the documents were not updated.
