It should come as no surprise to anyone that one of the most prominent action directors in the country roams around in a G-Wagon.
Rohit Shetty was recently spotted at the office of T-Series in his Mercedes AMG G63 popularly known as the G-Wagon. Rohit has given us some great action classics like Simmba, Bol Bachchan and the Singham franchise. His trademark action sequence includes blowing up vehicles to create a sense of awe among the audience. He was at the T-Series office for Ganpati Darshan.

The image captures him posing in front of the luxury SUV. The G-Wagon is one of those rare products that combines hardcore off-roading capabilities with utmost luxury and premium features. It has a massive chrome grille at the front adorned by the tri-arrow logo of the German luxury carmaker, the trademark LED round headlamps flank the grille and there are those old-school LED turn indicators mounted on the edge of the bonnet. A rugged bumper and a relatively square front round up the fascial features.

On the sides, the G-Wagon is devoid of any characteristic creases but has a butch outlook instead. There are massive alloy wheels and side steps to enhance the ingress and egress characteristics of the massive SUV. It is from here that its wheelbase of 2,890 mm is realised. At the rear, the old-school design features the boot door-mounted spare tyres, a boxy silhouette and relatively small LED taillamps. All in all, the sheer size of the SUV offers an imposing road presence.

The Mercedes Benz G-Class comes with a massive 4.0-litre V8 turbo petrol in its AMG G63 4MATIC guise that outputs a colossal 585 hp and 850 Nm of peak power and torque. This enables the SUV a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.5 secs despite weighing 2.5 tons. Complimenting this powerful engine is a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The top speed of this beast of an SUV is 220 km/h. In India, the price of the G-Wagon starts at Rs 1.77 Crore, while the top trim AMG G63 4MATIC costs upward of Rs 2.65 Crore, ex-showroom.
