Winter Storm in the USA
There have been tons of news around the deadly storm. The visuals show the roads covered in thick snow after the Christmas eve. In some parts of the country, there has already been around 40 inches of snow. That has covered the roads and every part of the city. People are dying in various road accidents that have been reported in the last 72 hours. Even those inside their homes are not much better off due to the power outages.

Surviving without heating and electricity is next to impossible in such extreme weather conditions. People are trying to sit through this storm in their cars or are moving to warming centres. Some people are trying to get to other areas to their friends and family to stay a few days until the power is restored. However, the slippery roads are making it nigh impossible to travel during these times. People are advised to either stay at homes or approach warming centres in the vicinity. Authorities are working tirelessly toward fixing the electricity issue. In many parts, there are car crashes involving up to 50 cars due to the lack of visibility.

In Buffalo city, the death toll has risen to 27. Unfortunately, the numbers are likely to rise, confirms Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia. The situation is being compared to the 1977 Buffalo Storm that took 23 lives. The injured and the dead are being transported to the nearest hospital and morgue.
