India’s first electric motorcycle, Revolt RV400 will be launched tomorrow and its price is likely to be around a Lakh, on-road.
The price of Revolt RV400 will finally be revealed on 28th August, which was unveiled in India last month. The bookings for the bike are ongoing, and you can book it on their official website or through Amazon.
You can pre-book the motorcycle for Rs 1,000 and it is available in two colours – Black and Red. In our last update, we got to know that the bike has received over 2500 bookings. Initially, it will be available in Delhi only and will later spread to different cities, in a phased manner.
We expect the price of Revolt RV400 to be under 1 Lakh (ex-showroom). The company officials have confirmed that the bike is for the masses and will not be priced towards the premium end.

The specifications of the RV400 will also be revealed at the time of the launch. As of now, the battery power and other technical specs are unknown. But, we know that the electric motorcycle offers an ARAI-claimed riding range of 156 kms.
Not only is it India’s first electric motorcycle, but is also the first AI-enabled motorcycle. It gets a digital console with an inbuilt 4G LTE sim card slot. You can connect to the console via an app through Bluetooth, which shows riding range, satellite navigation, bike location, real-time information, incoming call alert and much more.
Also, you get customizable exhaust notes on the RV400, so that it gives the feel of a regular motorcycle. You can choose between Revolt, Roar, Rage and Rebel amongst the different sounds.

The top speed achievable on Revolt RV400 is around 85 km/hr. It comes with a removable battery so that you can charge it anywhere with a three-pin plug. If the battery is down, you can also get it swapped at a nearby location with a new battery for a nominal price.
Revolt RV400 will later face a competition from the upcoming Ultraviolette F77, which will be another electric motorcycle but priced towards the premium side. In the same price range of RV400, you can probably opt for Ather and Okinawa Praise electric scooters.
