Revolt RV400, India’s first electric motorcycle has been unveiled in India. Super Soco TS, an identical looking motorcycle is sold in China. What’s different?
India’s first electric motorcycle and first AI-enabled motorcycle, Revolt RV400 has been unveiled in India. It gets power figures like a 110cc motorcycle, with the top speed limited to 85 km/hr.
It comes with an ARAI-claimed riding range of 156 kms. Further, it gets AI-enabled connectivity features, swappable battery, switchable exhaust sound, start/stop from the mobile app and much more.
Now, with the same features, riding range and design, China has Super Soco TS. It looks very identical to the RV400. So, here we explain to you, the differences between Revolt RV400 and Super Soco TS.

Revolt RV400 is actually a derived version of the Super Soco TS and uses the same platform as well. Revolt Motors is working with the Soco for their platform development and is one of their partners.
We are not sure it the RV400 is a rebadged version of Super Soco or a inspired version. Prior to the launch, the spy shots hinted its similarities to the Chinese electric motorcycle.
The Super Soco RS also gets USD forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the back. The single-piece handlebar has been set for the daily commuting comfort. The electric motor is put in the place of where conventional engines are put.

Similar rebadging business in seen a lot in the automotive industry. A recent example of such is the Toyota Glanza, which is a rebadged Maruti Baleno. Toyota and Suzuki have entered a partnership on the global level to exchange their platforms, technologies and some models as well.
Revolt RV400 has been unveiled and its booking will commence next week, via Amazon or on its official website. The booking amount is Rs 1,000. The prices will be revealed in July and that’s when the deliveries will commence.
