Revolt Motors has received more than 2500 booking for its electric motorcycle, RV400. As of now, the bookings for the same are going on over Amazon and their official website.
Revolt RV400 is India’s first electric motorcycle has been unveiled last month itself. The bookings for the same has already commenced on Amazon and Revolt’s official website, for a token amount of Rs 1,000.
The company confirms that they have already received over 2500 pre- booking of the Revolt RV400 in just 2 weeks. The prices are yet to be announced, and the complete launch is scheduled to happen later this month.
Revolt RV400 looks somewhat like a commuter motorcycle, as it shares its design and chassis with Super Poco TS. You get alloy wheels, a single step seat, a naked headlamp and a commuter-focused single-piece raised handlebar.

The E-bike offers an ARAI-certified riding range of 156 kms. The top speed achievable here is 85 km/hr. The exact specifications of the electric motor will be available at the time of launch.
For charging, you will get an onboard charger that will charge the bike in less than 4 hours. Removable battery pack ensures that you can charge it anywhere. Also, Revolt offers a network of battery swap locations, where you can just drop your empty battery and swap for a recharged one at a nominal cost.
Not only that, Revolt Motors is India’s first AI-enabled scooter, as it gets an inbuilt 4G LTE Sim Card. The dedicated mobile app displays information such as satellite navigation, bike location, real-time bike information, diagnostics, geofencing, incoming call and message alert and much more.
Also, to get the feel of a motorcycle, you can customize the exhaust note of the RV400. The unpleasant sound of the electric vehicle can be avoided with four different exhaust sounds to choose from.

The deliveries for the same are expected to commence once the official launch and price announcement is done. We expect it to be priced under RS 1 Lakh (ex-showroom). Also, it will come under the FAME-II scheme for EVs, just getting a chunky rebate.
Revolt RV400 will find its competition later in India, from TVS-backed Ultraviolette F77. It will be a more premium and performance motorcycle, but will be the second electric motorcycle in India.
