In this video, the YouTuber takes us through the process of how he restored the 1993 12V Electronic Bajaj Chetak. Now, Bajaj is the most popular bike manufacturer in the country and around the world. However, back in the early 70s, Bajaj used to produce the iconic Chetak in our market which was discontinued only in 2006 after the ban on sales of 2-stroke engines in India because of the emission norms. This restoration process makes the vintage scooter look brand new. The YouTuber mentions that the scooter was in pretty terrible condition when it was brought to him which is also evident from the video. He took out almost all the components of the old scooter and installed new ones. While doing so, he ensured that the scooter maintained its iconic status and oozes vintage vibes. To achieve that, he chose a dark blue paint shade and a ton of chrome embellishments all around the body.

The parts of the engine have also been replaced. That is visible as soon as the YouTuber opens the engine cover. He mentions that even the components inside the engine like the piston and cylinder have been replaced by new parts. This would invariably enhance the longevity of the scooter. However, it is not allowed to drive 2-stroke scooters on the roads. But this could be used on farms or find application in remote areas nevertheless.
