In a rather interesting case, a Maruti Baleno user is seen arguing with the car rental company operator. This incident took place in Goa. Goa is a famous place where tourists often rent cars and bikes to go around the city. While two-wheelers are the main vehicles people use to commute and rent, many tourists also opt for four-wheelers. Since Maruti cars offer the best mileage figures in almost all respective segments, no wonder the car rental companies use them. For now, let us get into the details of this latest case.

This post comes from ingoa24x7 on Instagram. It captures the entire saga in real-time. The tourist is seen with a stone in his hand. He is repeatedly hitting the headlamp of the Baleno. While doing so, he is asking the car rental operator to return his money. Allegedly, the car rental company operator deducted the tourist’s security deposit claiming that the latter had damaged the vehicle. The tourist also alleges that the operator hit him. Needless to say, the incident is going viral on social media.

Unfortunately, such incidents are quite common while availing of the car rental services. That is why it is best to make a video of the car as soon as you get it. If there are any prior damages to the car, it will be clearly visible in the footage. If not, you can use it as an evidence to prove your point. Alternatively, if you do end up damaging the car for any reason at all, it is fair to be transparent and inform the company about the incident. That is the only way to ensure a smooth car renting process.
