Renault Triber comes with projector headlamps, LED DRLs and the car can be made arranged in five, six and seven-seats respectively.
Renault Triber, a most affordable 7-seater car in the segment was launched at a starting price of Rs 4.95 lakh and the deliveries for the same has commenced. The car comes in a total of four trims, RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ.
The bookings for the Renault Triber has already commenced at a price of Rs 11,000 and the deliveries will happen after a short span of time. One can book their choice of trim either online through the company’s website or via visiting dealerships. Renault has got 350 sales facility across the country.
Now talking more about the car, Renault Triber sits on a heavily modified CMF-A platform which the Kwid uses. The officials have not given any name as such but some like to call it a crossover which seats 7-people.

The car is rich in features too as it offers a large 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dashboard is neatly laid out and the cabin receives a black and beige colour scheme. Notice the silver outlines on the dashboard and the steering wheel too. The third row gets rear AC vents and dedicated charging slots.
Now the heart of the car, it receives a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which churns out a total of 75 bhp along with 96 Nm of peak torque. Yes, the car is available in sole petrol engine and the company is not planning to bring the diesel version at all in India. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT will follow soon in the early 2020s.

The top model of the car will fetch you about Rs 6.45 lakh and considering the price point then it competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Tiago. However, if you look at the logical comparison (well, considering the number of seat configuration) then the car competes with the likes of Datsun GO+.
