Renault India has quietly added Renault Pulse Petrol to its Indian car lineup. Initially, Renault launched just the diesel model of Renault Pulse in India during the Auto Expo 2012. With good response to the Renault Pulse Diesel, the only small car in Renault India’s portfolio, it has now added Petrol model of the Renault to the lineup which has same specifications as its sibling Nissan Micra petrol. The Renault Pulse Petrol Price in India start At Rs. 4.25 Lakhs and goes up to Rs. 5.55 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. It comes in three trim levels with different feature sets.

The Pulse Petrol is powered by XH5 Petrol Engine unit which is a 3 cylinder 1.2 litre MPFI Petrol Engine with 4 valves per cylinder and DOHC valve-train. It produces a peak power of 75BHP @ 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 104 Nm @ 4000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission system. It has disk brakes and front and drum brakes at rear, the overall dimensions of the Pulse petrol are : Length= 3805 mm, Width= 1665mm, Height= 1530mm, wheelbase= 2450mm and boot space of 251 litres.
Talking of features, the Renault Pulse Petrol offers most of the comfort, aesthetic and safety features found in small cars. Some of the important features include – Electric power steering with tilt adjust function, all door power windows, engine start stop button, power folding and power adjustable outside rear view mirrors, central locking and keyless entry, integrated audio system, automatic climate control system, rear defogger, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, body coloured bumpers, outside mirrors etc. on the exteriors.
