Renault Duster has been one stellar of a car for Renault India which has set the sales chart of the company on fire. Since its launch in July 2012, the car has been selling like hot cakes and is generation a lot of presence for Renault as a Brand in India. One of the common complaints of the customs has been too simple central console with very simple multi-media options. Specially in India, where car buyers like more gadgets on their car, specially in premium segment, the Duster was being accused of being too simple on the dashboard. Well, to do away with these complaints, Renault has brought a modern whooping 7 inch touchscreen multimedia and navigation system in Renault Duster.
This touch screen system, called as Media NAV by Renault includes multiple features like a touch-screen, Radio, Music system, telephonic system with Bluetooth connectivity with mobile phones, GPS Satellite navigation, and other multimedia connection. It also gets a built-in USB and Aux-input support for music and external audio devices like iPods etc.
Price
The Multimedia NAV system is available only on two variants at the following ex-showroom Delhi price:
- Renault Duster 85 PS RxL with Media NAV is priced at Rs. 10.79 Lakhs
- Renault Duster 110 PS RxZ with Media NAV is priced at Rs. 11.99 Lakhs
The pricing is about Rs. 50,000 more premium compared to the corresponding variants without this feature.
The Bluetooth function of the Duster Media NAV can also synchronize phone book of the phone and can make calls using hands-free operations. The entire system can also be controlled using the steering mounted controls which makes it even more convenient.
