Renault Duster Engine Options
The India bound Duster will be offered with two engine options: a 1.5 litre dCI diesel engine and a 1.6 litre MPFI petrol engine. Since diesel vehicles are in demand now a days we expect the 1.5 dCI Duster to cover majority of the sales.

Renault Duster Variants And Feature List
There will be three trim levels of the car: RxE, RxL and RxZ. Each of these trim level comes with a petrol and two variants in diesel option so it makes total number of variants 5, 3 petrol and 2 diesel.
Renault Duster RxE
Exterior
On the exteriors the car will feature headlights with chrome bezel, chrome front grille, body coloured and black bumpers, black side sills, black roof rails, black door handles, and black ORVMs, 16 inch steel wheels, green tinted glass, wheel center cap with chromed Renault logo.
Interior
On the interiors you will get 2 tone grey/dark dashboard, bright chrome air vent rings, chrome instrument cluster rings, chrome steering wheel ring, shiny medium grey door grab handles, black inside door handles, 2 tone grey/black seats, sun visor, vanity mirror.
Safety & Comfort
Safety features include engine immobilizer, steel engine sump protection guard, 2 rear headrests, 3 point rear seat belts, RF remote control. Comfort features include power steering, manual HVAC, keyless entry with central locking, tilt steering column, internally adjusted ORVMs, front and rear power windows, tailgate push button, 2 reverse lights, internal cable operated fuel lid opener, strut type hood lifter.
RxE Engine: The petrol RxE comes with the 1.6 litre engine option and the diesel RxE comes with 1.5 dCi engine which produces 85 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque. It is not offered with the 110 BHP, 228 Nm 1.5 dCi diesel.
Renault Duster RxL
The RxL variant comes with all the features listed in the RxE section plus the ones which are mentioned below:
Exterior & Interior
On the exteriors it comes front fog lights, black door handles, body coloured ORVMs. On the interiors you get 2 tone beige/carbon dashboard, shine champagne door handles, beige fabric on door handles, champagne STW add on, champagne grab handles, shiny black centre console, all beige/fabric viny seats.
Safety & Comfort
Safety features are added with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. Comfort features get added with on board trip computer, 2 DIN integrated radio with MP3, USB, AUX in, SD reader and 4 speakers. Audio and Phone controls on the back of steering wheel, height adjustable front seat belts, electrically adjustable ORVMs, map lights on both sides, rear seat arm rest with cup holders, glove box lamp, rear glass wiper, washer, defroster etc.
Optional features include: Dual front airbags, navigation, 16 inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, ABS + EBD + Brake Assit(BA)
RxL Engine: The RxL petrol comes with the same 1.6 litre engine that produces 102 BHP of power and 145 Nm of torque. However for the diesel fans Renault will offer the car in both the diesel engine options, the 85 BHP and 110 BHP one.
Renault Duster RxZ
The RxZ comes with all the features listed under RxL variant plus the following:
Exterior
Chrome satin skid plates, black and chrome satin roof bars, chrome satin side mirrors, chrome satin finish door handles, chrome satin door sill add on, 16 inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust pipe finisher.
Interiors

ABS, EBD, BA, dual front airbags, driver seat belt reminder, impact sensing door unlocking, speed sensing door locking. Comfort features include height adjustable driver seat, seat adjustable lumbar support, rear parking sensors.
Optional features include leather seats, navigation and rear AC.
RxZ Engine: RxL duster is not offered with the 1.6 litre petrol engine. It is only offered with the 1.5 dCI 110 BHP diesel engine.
Renault Duster Price in India
The Renault Duster will be priced between Rs. 7.2 lakhs and Rs. 12 lakhs. Expectations are that the car will be launched either by the end of June or before mid July 2012. Stay tuned for more updates.
