Thanks to discounts being offered at the dealer-level, the Renault Captur is currently retailing with a price-cut of almost INR 2.5 lakh.
In order to put some traction in the lethargic sales of the Captur, Renault dealerships have now started offering attractive discounts on the on-road prices of this crossover/SUV. Though the ex-showroom prices remain unchanged, the reduction in costs is leveraged by providing free insurance, warranties in addition to other incentives. These discounts, which are available across all the variants vary from city to city.
The Renault Captur, which went on sale in India in 2017, is based on the same platform as that of the Renault Duster. It offers a premium cabin, more features and a crossover-ish body style in comparison to the rugged looks of the Duster. It is available in both the petrol as well as diesel engine configurations. Offering a seating capacity for five, the Captur competes with the likes of Hyundai Creta and the Maruti S-Cross in our market.
