As you can see in the video by journalist Nandan Pratim, three people are sitting on top of a black-coloured Hyundai Creta without any protection. They seem to have climbed out of the panoramic sunroof of the car. The seemingly drunk girls can be seen laughing and creating a nuisance on the road. This incident is from Guwahati, Assam. The car be seen making a U-turn on a busy Guwahati road. As it manoeuvring down the main road, the young girls continue laughing and waving to the onlookers. Meanwhile, the compact SUV overtakes other vehicles and even heads up an overbridge.
While the above video has gone viral now, the incident has not been reported to the Guwahati traffic police. It is not clear if the authorities have taken any action or if any investigation is underway. The owner of the car can be easily identified with the help of the registration plate. It should also be easy to find the driver and three girls on the SUV’s roof. If caught, all involved are likely to attract a hefty fine for reckless driving and performing mindless acts on a public road.
