Automobile designers are constantly creating cool iterations of popular products. This RE Himalayan V2.0 concept gives the throws the Yezdi Adventure out of water.
Yezdi has launched a new Yezdi Adventure alongside a Scrambler and a Roadster model. Just like the original models, the new bike is powered by the 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that offers a maximum power of 30 bhp and 29 Nm of torque. It also comes with a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox. The new Yezdi Adventure comes with a starting price of Rs 2.10 lakh (goes up to Rs 2.19 lakh). It directly competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Now, the designer has conceptualized the RE Himalayan V2.0 that is capable of giving the Yezdi Adventure a run for its money. As you can see, the RE Himalayan V2.0 concept looks really attractive and sporty. It comes in two color options – Sapphire Blue and Bright Red. The design features a black base scheme with Blue/ Red highlights. The sleek stylish silver parts further accentuate the aesthetics. It sports large disc brakes with a silver finish. The semi-protected engine comes with a black finish. The front fascia includes a single headlamp and a visor with narrow handlebars. On the back, the RE Himalayan V2.0 features a split seat with a sleek tail-end and LED taillamps. Overall, the new concept bike looks quite cool and even better than the new Yezdi Adventure. There is also a variant with a Green color scheme and Silver-themed accessories.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan comes with a 411 cc Air-Cooled Single-Cylinder SOHC Engine making 24.3 hp and 32 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. It has a compression ratio of 9.5:1. There is a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch with Digital Electronic Ignition and Electronic Fuel Injection. The chassis is the Half-Duplex split Cradle Frame with Telescopic Front Suspension with 200 mm travel and mono-shock rear suspension with 180 mm travel. The fuel tank is 15 liters. The front tire is 21-inch and has a 300 mm disc brake with 2 pistons floating caliper whereas the rear tire is 17-inch with a 240 mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper. Also, there is a Dual Channel ABS with Rear Wheels ABS Deactivation Control. The prices range between Rs 2.02 lakh and Rs 2.09 lakh, ex-showroom.
