This sprint race between the RE Himalayan 450 Rally and Hero Xpulse 200 Rally is extremely thrilling. Both these motorcycles represent the rally editions of the regular models. Note that these are rugged bikes which are designed specifically for off-road riding on dirt tracks. Still, it doesn’t mean that they are hardcore bikes which people can take to extreme rally competitions around the world. Also, the bikers are amateur rally professionals and dirt bike riders. That makes things even more interesting. Let us take a look at the details of this race here.

RE Himalayan 450 Rally vs Hero Xpulse 200 Rally Sprint Race
This post comes from Abhinav Bhatt on YouTube. The two riders are ready for a quick sprint race. Since both of these are experienced riders, this is slated to be a thrilling encounter. The host mentions at the beginning of the video that to protect unwanted damage to the motorcycles, they won’t be going too hard. This is not a purpose-built track but a natural area. Hence, the obstacles could be challenging. On the count on three, the two riders accelerate. They are wearing Go-Pro on their helmets to record the entire event.

Once the Xpulse rider took the lead, he stayed ahead throughout the entire journey. In all honesty, the track was not wide enough for anyone to overtake. Hence, it is not a matter of performance or riding skills but the constraints of a narrow path, that one bike has to travel behind the other. In any case, the undulations in the track and uneven surfaces tested the off-road capabilities of the motorcycles. These include things like wheel articulation, suspension travel, power, handling and ride quality. All in all, this was an enthusiastic ride which demonstrated the prowess of the bikes, as well as the skills of the riders.

Author’s Note
Now we appreciate the real-life sprint race of these two motorcycles in their natural habitat. However, we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone if they are not skilled. The chances of getting physically hurt and even damaging the bike are high. Hence, it is great to consume content around this on the internet. But refrain from performing such stunts yourself.
