YouTubers often adopt the method of drag race to compare the performances of two vehicles.
This drag race between the newly launched RE Guerrilla 450 and KTM Duke 390 is exciting. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer just launched the Guerrilla 450 for the Indian market. It comes with the same engine as the Himalayan 450. However, it has a totally different demeanour. It is geared more toward those who want a roadster for the long highway rides. On the other hand, the KTM Duke 390 is a prominent performance motorcycle which offers insane riding capabilities. Sporty riding enthusiasts often opt for it. Let us take a look at the details of this drag race here.
RE Guerrilla 450 vs KTM Duke 390 Drag Race
This post arrives from REDLINE Z800 on YouTube. The YouTuber has two motorcycles on an open stretch of road. For the first round, he takes the Guerrilla 450. At the count of three, the two riders accelerate hard. They remain neck-to-neck for the first few seconds. However, the sheer power of the Duke 390 ensures that it pulls ahead, never to be captured by the Guerrilla throughout the race. For the second round, they swapped the riders. This ensures that the riding mannerisms and their weights are taken into consideration. This time around, the Duke 390 zooms ahead from the launch itself. However, I feel that the KTM rider went even before the three horns. In any case, the Duke 390 definitely is the better of the two in terms of straight-line acceleration.
