The soon-to-be-launched RE Guerrilla 450 has been spotted in yet another spy media. Guerrilla spy images have been doing rounds on the internet in the last few days. The global launch is planned for July 17 in Barcelona, Spain. But since around a fortnight prior to that, we have been getting the visuals about how it will look and what it will offer. Note that the powertrain will most likely be similar to the existing Himalayan 450. However, there will be plenty of distinctions in terms of design, styling and features.
RE Guerrilla 450 Spied
The details of this latest case emerge from Bullet Guru on YouTube. It captures a clear image of the upcoming motorcycle. It is finished in yellow and black dual-tone paint. There are Guerrilla graphics on the fuel tank. Additionally, we see a single-seat setup along with a sleek rear section. I particularly like the stubby exhaust pipe along with sturdy side body panels. The alloy wheels at the front and rear look sporty and the tyres are broad too. At the front, the buyers will get a round LED headlamp cluster offering a retro-modern appearance.
The gap between the rear seat and the tyre ensures that the suspension travel will be long. Depending on the variant, you will either get a TFT display from the Himalayan or a regular screen from the Meteor. In the spy images, a total of four colour options were spotted – two for the lower trim and two for the higher trim. In essence, the motorbike will come with modern elements including features and design. More details will emerge at the global launch.
Specs
The RE Guerrilla 450 will share its powertrain options with the Himalayan 450. Hence, we can expect it to get a 452-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 4V engine which produces a decent 40.02 PS of power @ 8,000 RPM and 40 Nm of torque @ 5,500 RPM. This engine will pair with a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. At the front, it will get telescopic forks, while at the rear, we might see a linkage-type mono-shock absorber. As per various estimates, it is said that the RE Guerrilla 450 could have a starting price of around Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom.
