After the huge success of Range Rover Evoque 5-door SUV, Range Rover is ready to unveil its next product at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show scheduled for next month. The British major has already released the pictures of its upcoming model which is a convertible concept car based on Evoque.
Commenting on the concept, Land Rover Design Director, Gerry McGovern said, “The Evoque lends itself beautifully to the idea of a convertible. This study is not a traditional convertible design execution – instead we have worked with the balance of the Evoque’s lines to retain its distinctive shape and create something that is unique and, we believe, highly desirable.”

Alike its coupe sibling, the Evoque Convertible Concept looks fabulous from all angles and has its own unique appeal. Being a convertible, you obviously do not get a hard top but you do get a retractable soft top with a Roll Over Protection System(ROPS). While on the exteriors Evoque’s dynamic design and features have been retained, on the interiors the car offers a complete four seat package.
Evoque Concept features 21-inch Titan Silver Alloy wheels and a new metallic Causeway Grey body paint. Interiors feature Lunar and Ivory tone with leather seats. The seats flaunt their sporty perforated panels which get ivory coloured stitching.

John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director said, “The Evoque Convertible Concept is a new twist to the Evoque story and explores the potential to further extend the nameplate’s appeal by giving existing customers more choice, whilst at the same time reaching out to a completely new customer base. We are excited to see the response to this concept as we assess the potential for building on the Evoque’s exceptional success so far.”
