Range Rover Evoque, the latest baby SUV from Range Rover is yet to be launched in India and since its first global preview at the 2012 Paris Motor Show we are eager to see it in the nearest dealerships. This very SUV is very special to the brand as it is new, has a radical design and also is the smallest of the Range Rover series.
As per sources the car is to be launched during the last quarter of 2011, probably in this month or by November. Since the car will not manufactured in India, JLR has planned of importing the car from UK as CBU. The company is yet to receive the first lot of Evoques from UK and if you are planning or were planning to book one from the first lot of Evoques, then I must inform you that the first lot has already been booked.
It might sound strange but even before its official launch, the company has reportedly sold out all the units of the first lot and buyers who were aspiring for the same will now have to wait for the next lot to arrive.
The Evoque since its global launch, has been a much talked about vehicle and all the credit has to be given to its styling and capabilities. The car is expected to be priced over Rs. 50 Lakhs and will be offered in Dynamic and Prestige variants of which the Dynamic one will be sportiest in terms of looks.
The base variant Evoque Pure is also available in other markets but as per the news the company might not offer the same and will only offer the top end variants. It will be available in both MPFI petrol and CRDI diesel engine options and the company is expecting a major proportion coming from the diesel model.
Most of the time I end up the post saying that I hope the car does well but this time there is no such need as the success of the car has spoken for itself.
